The OO section, currently  has one  operational layout, ‘Chapel Junction’  This is a large, four track continuous run layout, on which members are welcome to run their own stock on club running nights. The only proviso is that, because the track is finescale, then rolling stock must be fitted with appropriate wheelsets. (this is not a problem with modern R-T-R stock)

We currently have another layout, with a working title of 'Beeton Hough' under construction. This layout is smaller than Chapel Junction, and is designed as an exhibition layout.

Other members of the section are engaged in adapting a ‘train-set’ layout’ for use in an exhibition of Childhood Toys, due to take place in  the Grosvenor Museum Chester from 22nd January to the 27th March 2011.  This is in the 'Transported - The Allure of Vehicles' section.

 And looking further ahead, we are starting to consider a replacement layout for Chapel Junction
